This page answers the questions we are asked most often about the house, in plain language. If something you want to know is not here, write to info@noorqiro.com.

What is NOORQIRO?

NOORQIRO is an independent Indian perfume house. It composes and bottles high-concentration extraits de parfum and alcohol-free classic attars in India. The name is pronounced noor-KEE-ro. The house works to a single idea, which is that a fragrance should be remembered rather than merely noticed: not louder, more lasting.

Is NOORQIRO the same as Noorain, Noor or Noori?

No. NOORQIRO is a distinct and independent brand, and it is not a variant spelling of, affiliated with, or a sub-label of any house named Noor, Noori, Noorain or similar. The spelling is N-O-O-R-Q-I-R-O. Search engines sometimes treat the name as a misspelling of more established Middle Eastern fragrance brands; it is not one.

Where are NOORQIRO fragrances made?

Every NOORQIRO fragrance is composed and bottled in India. The company is based at F-35, 5th Floor, Urbtech NPX, Sector 153, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201304.

What does NOORQIRO sell?

The house currently makes three extraits de parfum and two classic attars.

The extraits de parfum, sold in 50 ml bottles, are:

  • SEA & BLOSSOM — citrus and sweet fruit over a green marine muguet heart, drying down to earthy musk and florals.
  • ENAVIA — a sweet floral opening that deepens into amber, dark wood and earth, finishing on sweet powdery musk.
  • SPICED BLOOM — the house signature. Floral spice laid over a strong amber and woody heart, settling into musky powdered sweetness.

The attars, sold in 3 ml bottles and held in a jojoba oil base rather than alcohol, are:

  • LEAF & MUSK — the SEA & BLOSSOM composition as an oil: the same citrus, green marine muguet and earthy musk, worn a drop at a time.
  • ROSE & PHILIA — a sweet petal rose over amber, muguet and a marine coolness, settling into powdered floral musk.

There is also THE DISCOVERY BOX, which holds all three extraits de parfum at 8 ml each, at full parfum strength.

What is the difference between an extrait de parfum and an attar?

An extrait de parfum is the highest concentration in conventional perfumery: more aromatic oil and less alcohol than an eau de parfum, sprayed, and built to unfold over hours. An attar in the classic sense is a concentrated perfume oil with no alcohol at all, applied a drop at a time rather than sprayed.

The practical difference is how they behave in the air. A spray projects, so people notice it as you arrive. An oil sits on the skin, so it reads as a warmth someone is standing next to rather than a scent that announces itself.

Why jojoba oil instead of alcohol?

Jojoba is not a filler. It is a liquid wax rather than a vegetable oil, and its structure is closer to what skin already produces, so it absorbs instead of sitting on the surface. It carries a composition without contributing a smell of its own, and because nothing flashes off in the first minute, the fragrance unfolds slowly and stays where it was placed.

Are NOORQIRO fragrances unisex?

Yes. Every fragrance in the range is made to be worn by anyone. The house does not split its catalogue by gender.

Are NOORQIRO fragrances cruelty-free?

Yes. NOORQIRO is cruelty-free. The two attars are additionally alcohol-free, being built in a jojoba oil base.

How long do the fragrances last?

The extraits are high-concentration compositions built on amber, wood and musk bases, which are among the slowest-evaporating materials in perfumery, so they are designed for long wear rather than a loud opening. The attars stay closer to the skin and last through the day from a single drop. Longevity varies with skin, heat and humidity; our guide to concentration, longevity and sillage explains why.

When does NOORQIRO launch?

The house opens in October 2026.

How do I contact NOORQIRO?

By email at info@noorqiro.com, or by post at F-35, 5th Floor, Urbtech NPX, Sector 153, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201304, India.

Where can I learn more about fragrance itself?

The house keeps a small reference library: a guide to reading a note pyramid, one on olfactory families, and one on concentration, longevity and sillage.
